Night Walk Publishing is the brainchild of Conrad Karel and María Eugenia Simancas. His vision is to provide listeners with extraordinary literary experiences through quality recordings of works by up-and-coming talents.

Although newly established in its current form, Night Walk Publishing has already released several Kindle versions of some of the texts they represent.

Presently, both Kindle and Audible versions of narrative fiction by Ariel Isolde and Scott H. Urban are available, with more of their writing and that of others soon to come.

Earned degrees in Marketing and Finance, then continued his education with advanced degrees in the Sciences. Working alongside statisticians and economists, he soon discovered how much he enjoyed assisting academics with their varied intellectual pursuits. After his stint at university, he began his career as a research assistant, collecting data for scientific and economic reports—and, occasionally, for academic and scholarly projects. Upon occasion he helped with fiction-related material, becoming more fascinated with the telling of stories and how each writer expressed themselves. Before long he was editing a literary magazine and consulting for several journals. He also tried his hand at narrative construction, but found it more rewarding to fine tune the writing of others.

In 2005, Conrad Karel joined a small UK consortium interested in producing a novel for the US market. The thrust of the project was to launch a print version while simultaneously testing the digital market.

The book's miniscule print run sold out almost immediately, and the digital version was well-received by critics. Although the experiment proved successful, the publishing entity, Element 118 Books, dissolved before producing further projects. But as the driving force behind this company, Conrad Karel rolled out a line of free-and-premium e-books designed primarily for Kindle readers.#d9c3a5

Since then, he continues to study online publishing and—most recently—has fallen in love with audiobooks. Working side-by-side with Night Walk Publishing's executive production manager María Eugenia Simancas, Conrad Karel feels he has finally discovered his true niche. He now serves as liaison, voice coach, and production assistant for the Night Walk Publishing's new and exciting line of audio releases.

Is one of the founding members of Night Walk Publishing, serving as Production Manager and Audio Engineer for audiobooks.  From a young age, María Eugenia studied Music Theory, Voice, and Piano, earning degrees and certifications from universities around the world. She is the owner of the Taller Expresión Musical—through which she teaches Music to select international students. Several who haveworked with became professional musicians, some of whom have also won awards.

But María Eugenia’s desire to learn means she is never idle. In recent years, she earned an MA degree in Digital Literacy and teaches Computer courses and use of Artificial Inteligent at a local college.

With the creation of Night Walk Publishing, her many talents came together in a very special manner. The dynamic scope of the projects she’s undertaken demonstrate her deep understanding of audio and the importance of such listening experiences—realizing their greatest potential.  Thus far, María Eugenia has focused on short works of fiction from writers with whom she has worked on other projects in the past, but she’s eager to try her hand with novel-length narratives, and is interested in producing a collection of poetry complete with musical interludes. Her strengths, combined with the editorial skills of her colleagues at Night Walk Publishing, have helped create a range of fantastic opportunities for listener.s.
